TIPSY DRIVERS. SOCIAL PROBLEM OR EFFECT OF SOCIAL ACCEPTANCE?

Abstrakt

Drunk drivers is recurring topic in polish mass media. It constitutes nationwide debates including journalists and politicians. This article focuses on objective analysis of data describing the number of car accidents caused by drunk drivers (according to police database). Moreover it provides interpretation of TNS OBOP (public opinion study center) and WHO data. It aims at determining whether drunk drivers are a social problem.
